I partnered with Amanda on building workshops and learning content for our whole company, and honestly, I've never experienced anything like it. Her ability to take vague, aspirational goals and turn them into practical, meaningful progress, that also feels authentic to the group doing the work, took me by surprise again and again.

It's not easy to find people who are skilled in everything from learning techniques to project management to graphic design(!). It's REALLY not easy to find people who think strategically about where the business is, what the business needs, and how to get from point A to point B. And it's almost impossible to find people who can span the gamut, as well as the intangibles -- an ethical compass, an appreciation for diversity and flexibility, the ability to code switch and pitch the message to different audiences, and more.

Getting to work with Amanda reset the bar for me in terms of my expectations and understanding of what's possible, when execs pair with L&D experts. Her curiosity and versatility and fearlessness will take her far; I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who needs this skill set to help their company scale.

Al Youn, Head of Operations Excellence

"Amanda impressed me from our first conversation during her interview at Side. Amanda redesigned an essentially non-existent Customer Training Team at Side and built it to the robust operation we have today. She very ably worked cross-functionally and collaboratively to create a training program for our customers who historically aren't interested at all in learning new things. She excelled at engaging sometimes very hostile and resistant real estate agents and took delight in changing mindsets and building knowledge. All this with an incredibly enthusiastic attitude that she carried throughout her tenure. Amanda is an incredible asset to any company and I hope to work with her again."

Steph Hippo, Director of Engineering

"Amanda is the strongest talent development manager that I've ever worked with. Amanda quickly made a strong impression at Honeycomb and lived up to the high expectations she set for herself. I cannot tell you how many conversations I had with her on what my team and organization needed in order to grow in the direction I wanted to steer the culture, only to find out she was already two steps ahead of me. She was a great collaborator and a true partner in helping advance both engineering and management leadership teams.

  • When I was reusing an old slide deck to give an internal presentation, Amanda rebranded it for me and polished it for me.

  • When I wanted to give a consistent message on how to improve feedback to each other, Amanda led a training that my engineers genuinely engaged with and I could see them applying what they learned within days.

  • When I wanted to explore different ways for intentional management onboarding and incremental learning, Amanda pulled up an outline of her plans and ideas on the spot based on feedback she had heard from managers and leaders so far.

Amanda helped my organization build skills in owning their own career development, psychological safety, and giving/receiving feedback to each other. One thing that especially stood out to me was Amanda's ability to get creative on the different types of media she used to train people, capturing a large audience that spanned generational differences and learning preferences in the workforce. Again, it was something I didn't even know I wanted until Amanda did it. She is truly multi-talented and one of those people obviously doing what she's so meant to be doing. I would jump at the opportunity to work with her again, and I'm happy to answer questions on specifics of her work at any time."

Diane Le Strain, Training Manager

"I worked with Amanda at Side and directly reported to her. To say she’s an incredible mentor, leader, and manager is an understatement. She’s knowledgable in all things learning and development and isn’t afraid to try new new ideas and push boundaries to create the best learning experiences possible. I learned so much about Agile PM, instructional design, and training from Amanda early in my L&D career—thanks to her mentorship, patience, and leadership!"

Matteo Sebastiano, Training Manager

"Amanda and I worked together building the L&D team from the ground up. We both joined the company at the same time and walked into chaos. Notable there was no LMS in place and Amanda immediately took on the task. When the dust cleared, Amanda built the LMS in about 3 months which was not an easy task. Amanda was our team's cheerleader and always made sure we were taking time to take care of ourselves with our busy schedules. Even with her incredible workload, she was always the first to offer a helping hand. If you were ever wondering how an amazing co-worker acts, the easy answer is "Amanda". I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with her and proudly recommend her."

Frank Gomez, L&D Leader

"Amanda’s approach to an instructional design project is both creative and methodical in how she applies adult learning theory to her practice. She approaches a new project by applying either an action map or mind map strategy, collaboration with SME’s, then storyboarding. Her creativity, and that of most ID’s can be seen in the final eLearning deliverable, Storyline or Rise. Collaborating with Amanda was a fruitful learning experience for me and I hope we can collaborate again in the future!"

Pamela Rodriguez, Sr. HRBP

"Amanda’s welcoming energy and genuine kindness assist in making every training environment inclusive, where different types of learners can feel comfortable to speak up and share their opinions. I was able to see her in action during a DISC training, where she skillfully facilitated the group into dialogue on how each individual can be more accepting of others differences. She is eager to dive into new projects, for example, she co-created a completely new curriculum for a Crucial Conversations training and traveled around the US to lead the Pilots. We heard great feedback from a Director-level participant who said it was the most helpful & quickly applicable training her team had in years, they started using the strategies they learned that very week!"

Catherine Norbeck, HR Executive

"I hired Amanda because of her experience designing and leading experiential learning activities, her enthusiasm and her dedication to learning new things and creating progress in complex environments. She designed and delivered workshops on topics like communication, personal influence and team dynamics. She also brought a strong learning evaluation skillset to the team and effectively managed changing timelines and expectations. I loved working with Amanda - she brought charisma and joy to the team and fearlessly supported culture change initiatives with authenticity, drive and creativity."

Crishel Bonafante, Employee Communications Manager

"I had the pleasure of working at 2K with Amanda in People Operations. I was continually impressed by her passion and dedication to helping the 2K team grow and develop professionally. Amanda's energy and enthusiasm is contagious - when you're around her you can't help but smile. She excels at engaging everyone she trains; she's incredibly creative and applies this to her approach to L&D. That creativity, coupled with her charisma, help transform training on topics that could normally be dry into motivating and interesting learning opportunities. A great example of this is the wonderful work she did around informing and educating the 2K team about annual performance reviews. Amanda led a series of trainings that provided transparency and clarity into what can be a cloudy and daunting process. She partnered with me on ways to best promote the review cycle on our internal channels and office digital displays (again, that creativity shining through!), wanting to make the process feel good and fulfilling for employees. Amanda is a stellar human being inside and out and strong asset to have on your team. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work with her and highly recommend her!"
